These tiles are made in South Africa. The pattern is broken blocks of colour, tufted high and low from 2.5 mm to 6 mm, so the floor has a rough, stony texture. The pile is solution-dyed nylon, so the colour runs through the fibre. The cushion backing has recycled content. It softens the feel underfoot and helps absorb sound. The maker rates these tiles for heavy commercial use, in offices, shops and other busy rooms.
Six colours
This range comes in six colours: Claret, Taupe, Marine, Lagoon, Azure and Graphite. Two colours are shown fitted in boardrooms in the photos above, and every colour is shown close up. At the free visit we bring samples, so you can see the colours in your own light before you decide.
The tiles are laid on tackifier over a flat, dry floor, and a worn or stained tile can be lifted and replaced without touching the rest of the floor. Spare tiles from your order are left with you, and we can fit around desks while an office is in use, including evenings and weekends.
