Carpet Installation and Fixing in Dubai
Fitting carpets across Dubai is our own team's work, not a subcontracted extra. We supply the carpet and fit it: homes, offices, mosques and commercial floors, from a single bedroom to a full hall. Every job starts with a free measurement, where the rooms are measured, the floors are checked and the carpet is chosen with samples in hand. Fitting carries a 12-month warranty on our installation work. This page covers what we fit, how the fitting runs, and what the cost depends on.
Carpet Fixing in Dubai for Homes, Offices and Mosques
Wall to wall fitting
The standard job: carpet stretched on grippers over underlay, seamed where the room is wider than the roll, and finished at the doorways. See the ranges on our wall to wall carpets page.
Carpet tiles fitting
Tiles are laid on a grid, glued or loose-laid by the floor's system, with cuts worked to the room's edges. Spare tiles are left with you for future swaps. See carpet tiles.
Stair fitting
Each step is fitted on its own gripper and underlay piece, with runners centred and landings joined on site. Curved and winder steps are templated one by one. See stair carpets.
Mosque carpet fitting
Large halls are fitted in runs, with the prayer rows woven into the carpet and the mihrab area aligned to the qibla before the final seams are closed. See mosque carpets.
Old carpet removal
Where a new carpet replaces an old one, lifting and removing the old carpet and its underlay can be included in the job. It is named as its own line in the quote, so you can see what the removal costs before you agree to it.
Underlay fitting
Underlay is fitted as part of the carpet job, cut room by room and step by step on stairs. Grades and prices are on the carpet underlay page.
How Our Fitting Works
Free measurement and surface check
The visit comes first. We measure every room, check the floor under the existing covering where it can be seen, and note doors, pillars and curves. Book it on the free measurement page or on WhatsApp.
Underlay and gripper rods
On fitting day, gripper rods go down at the edges and the underlay is cut and laid. This layer decides how the finished carpet feels, so it is fitted with the same care as the carpet itself.
Cutting, seaming and fitting
The carpet is cut to the room, joined with heat seaming where runs meet, and power stretched onto the grippers so it sits flat and stays flat. Tiles are laid to their grid. Edges are finished at doorways and thresholds.
Final check and clean-up
Seams, edges and door clearances are checked with you in the room. Offcuts that belong to the job are cleared, and the room is handed back ready to use.
What Fitting Costs Depend On
Carpet type and backing
Broadloom, tiles and natural fibres are different work. A heavy woven carpet, a sisal that must be handled flat, and a box of tiles each take their own method and time.
Floor condition and preparation
A clean, level floor is quick work. A floor that needs old covering lifted, adhesive cleaned off, or a damaged patch levelled takes longer, and that prep appears in the quote as a named line.
Room size, seams and stairs
More rooms and more seams mean more cutting and joining. Stairs are the slowest fitting of all, step by step. Your quote is written after the measurement, is valid for 10 days, and installation orders run on 50 percent advance. What a full quote includes is set out on our carpet prices page.
Fitting for Commercial Spaces
Offices, showrooms and retail floors are fitted around working hours, including evenings and weekends where the building allows it. Large tile and broadloom areas are planned in sections, so part of the floor can stay in use while the rest is fitted. The ranges are on our office carpets page, and the process above is the same, run to a schedule we agree with your office manager in writing before the first day.
