These tiles have a plain loop pile with a fine fleck in the yarn, so the floor reads as one flat colour with a soft texture. The pile is 100% polypropylene, solution-dyed, so the colour runs through the fibre. The backing is PVC reinforced with glass fibre, which holds each tile flat and steady. The maker lists the tiles for commercial use, in offices, shops, schools and other working rooms. The tiles can be laid in a brick pattern or quarter turn.
Twelve colours
This range comes in twelve colours: Charcoal, Smoke, Flint, Espresso, Walnut, Caramel, Camel, Olive, Navy, Denim, Cobalt and Scarlet. Most are quiet office tones. Cobalt and Scarlet are the strong ones, and they are often laid as single accent tiles inside a plainer floor, as one of the photos above shows. Five of the colours are shown fitted in the photos above, and every colour is shown close up. At the free visit we bring samples, so you can see the colours in your own light before you decide.
The tiles are laid on tackifier over a flat, dry floor, and a worn or stained tile can be lifted and replaced without touching the rest of the floor. Spare tiles from your order are left with you, and we can fit around desks while an office is in use, including evenings and weekends.
